At Acreativealt, we’re always inspired by brands that walk the talk when it comes to sustainability — and IKEA is a global leader in this space.

Around 80% of IKEA stores are now equipped with solar panels, contributing up to 20% of their total energy needs. Globally, they’ve installed over 920,000 panels, and since 2020, they’ve been generating more renewable energy than they consume. It’s all part of their ambitious goal to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2025.

We were fortunate to be invited for a rooftop visit and see the scale of this commitment up close.
